What’s your Commitment Level…1, 2 or 3?

How committed are you to be like Jesus? How is far are you willing to go out of your comfort zone?

I’ve seen people start their Jesus journey and pull up short of all they are supposed to be. Let me explain it in simple language the way I see it. The entry-level of our Jesus journey starts at level one the …

Head

Our head is where we hold knowledge, the truths that make us who we are and assure us of who we are as a child of God. Unfortunately, this is where many followers end their commitment. They feel the more ‘knowledge” they have, the more spiritual they become. Not true!

Knowledge isn’t bad, it’s the exaltation of knowledge that creates pride issues, I Cor 8.1

Heart

This is where the emotions come in. Where many would say where we become like Jesus. We feel and act on mercy, love, forgiveness and grace. All of these are vitally important and a must have in order to be like Jesus, but we most not stop here and neglect the…

Hand

Our actions when done just as Jesus did we become His modern-day hands. I think of John 14.12, ”

“Those who believe in me will do the things I have been doing, yes they will do even greater things than these.

The head are things we know about Jesus, the heart are the things we think like Jesus, but the hand are the things we DO like Jesus. The things He did.

I don’t understand all this, but simply because I don’t understand it all doesn’t mean I want to miss a thing! I want to know all I can about Jesus, I want all my thoughts and attitudes to be like Jesus, but I also want my actions to be in faith and filled with power like Jesus’ was!

How about you, what is your commitment level…1-2 or 3?
