Agree with the context or not, I love the beer commercial where the most “Interesting man in the world” gives you his best advice…

“Stay thirsty my friends”

That is some of the greatest leadership advice you could get.. Stay thirsty!

Never become satisfied drink in all you can from as many sources that bring passion, inspiration or vision.

With complacency comes satisfaction and there’s is a great difference between satisfaction and contentment.

Never be satisfied, but always content

Satisfied ~ No need to move. No desire for anything else. Full, Fat and not looking for anything else.

Content~ Happy where you are, but not satisfied or complaining. You have a thirst for greater places and to do bigger things.

The Thirsty one…

Never quits to early

The thirsty one is driven by their thirst. That longing will not allow them to wear “I’m a Quitter” T-Shirt. It’s not that they can’t change jobs, schools or cities. But they never stop or pull way from the dreams and visions God has given.

Is loyal

Loyalty is one of the most overlooked qualities of a true leader. Becasue the bulk of it,  is unseen. Thirsty people are loyal, they don’t burn bridges or have feelings of superiority. They know “God opposes the proud.” So in order to reach their dreams humility toward others is a requirement.

Sets & Achieves Goals

“Catch the vision and WRITE is down.” Writing things down has more power than you can possibly imagine! If you don’t write it down, you will forget what it is  you’re thirsty for, and soon run off chasing something else.

Write down what you want. The steps it’s gonna take to get there. Then set times on the steps to be completed.

Gathers Knowledge by the Bucket full

The thirsty one knows, knowledge is power! Those of us who are thirsty can’t get enough!

  • We read.. A lot
  • We ask a lot of Questions
  • We develop a lot of connections with others
  • We write a lot (You learn A lot when writing)
Just never stop learning. Thirsty one’s are always thirsty to learn something new!

Tell me… What is what Dream you are the MOST thirsty for right now?

I’ve sought for a long time on how I could serve God, and at the same time I’ve desired to write and touch people’s lives. I have started doing that on my blog and it feels great. I am a very thirsty person as well, and love to learn. I enjoy your blog.
