Spouse “Sexting” Poll Results
Wow! The post on “Is Sexting with Your Spouse OK?” drew a HUGE response! I guess anytime you talk about sex, everybody wants to jump in. The post was viewed almost 900 times, and many voted on the survey. Here are the results…
Amazingly, the majority love it, or haven’t tried it yet. Honestly, this came as a shock to me. Since so many of you asked about my wife and I personally… well, let’s just say we have no problem in expressing our deep love for one another.
Do these result surprise you?
Why wouldn’t it be OK?
I can’t see anything morally wrong with spouses expressing their thoughts and feelings to each other in a private way.
There are two negatives that I can see….
1) What if someone is looking over your shoulder when you receive a picture ‘sext’?
2) What if your phone gets stolen?
Both of these then bring what’s private into the public domain. Which would not be good.

I’m late to the conversation, but this just reminds me of a funny story. Many years ago when PDAs were the thing, my husband had just gotten one. I had snuck in and made a quite explicit schedule for us the next day. I put things on there that we would never even do in real life. the idea was so he would find it while at work and be reminded of the fun woman waiting at home. unfortunately that day he had a group of people in his office and went to show them how he could synch his pda with his calendar on his computer and said, “see- here’s my calendar for today” and pulled up my XXXXX rated “schedule” for everyone to see.  Ahahahahahahahahaha! I thought I’d never stop laughing. I’d have felt sorry for the man, but I’m pretty sure it didn’t hurt his reputation too much. LOL
