Does anybody have your back? Really!

I’ve been with some pastor friends since Sunday. We’ve been talking, crying, playing, laughing, eating, golfing & loving on each other the whole time. These guys are some of my closet friends, hardened Kingdom warriors that have similar battle wounds.

We love  unconditionally, we speak the truth to each other in love. We care for one another’s families, and pray for each others’ ministries. We are totally transparent, un-guarded and have the freedom to be ourselves not having to guard our hearts.

Love being with these guys so much! They fuel my passion and vison. The bring healing to my past, and speak life into my future. I am blessed to have such "Mighty Men" in my life that are committed to me and all that I’m apart of! They are truly humble cheerleaders!

Needles to say, I haven’t had time to blog much….wait, this is a bog!

What say you? As a pastor or leader, do you have a a group that’s got your back? Man! do you need it!

    My answer to your question: no. i am in a very small community where most of the pastors either don’t care or are suspicious of others. Do I need it/want it? Yes. So glad you know how fortunate you are.

    Yes I do. You may know one of the guys. lol. On the serious side, I would not trade the incredible people God has surrounded me with for any treasure or talent. I have found that I am only as the good as the people that surround me.

    I’m glad you have this. This type of group can be very dynamic and growth stimulating for all in the group (and their families).

    I don’t have this right now. I have a mentor who does have that in his life and serves as that for me, one on one. I am praying for such a group in the future.

    I have 3 guys in my life that have my back. Thick or thin, pretty or ugly. They encourage me and smack me back into reality when I’m out of line. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I had them in my life.

      Well, Tony you and I can count ourselves as the few and fortunate! Breaks my heart to see other brothers suffer through life without others to help carry the load!
