Are you DEEP enough yet?

This is crazy! I can’t do all this, "bout to loose my mind, up in here, up in here." I don’t know if you can identify with a thought process like that or not. But, if you are a high output leader, I’m sure you can!

Many leaders take on soooo much… well too much sometimes, and then all things suffer. How do we know if what we are doing, is what we are supposed to be doing? It’s not a matter of… is it good, is it ministry, will it help others, that’s what I was asked to do. NO! Is what we are doing what we are CALLED BY GOD TO DO???

Luke 7:47-49 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:  He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.  But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

You must know that you know that you know! The way we do that is coming to the feet of Jesus, bowing all of who we are, sacrificing all our desires, and surrendering our wills, and say, "speak Lord, I will do."

That’s how we will know that what we are doing is the God thing, and not just the good thing! And when all the wind, waves and the devils of hell come against us, we will stand! Because we took the time to go DEEP!
