Indigenous.

Indigenous means: A system of recognizing and empowering local leadership…

What church planting usually means is that we move someone into a community and allow them to plant a church. The Comb Network uses people that are already in an area to plant the church. The planter has roots in the community, relationships with the people, and a knowledge of the culture. This MUST be utilized in church planting!

Our goal is to locate people that are in the community that have a calling from God to be church leaders within their community. It’s then essential that we give them the training they need and raise up indigenous church leaders.

It’s easy for us send "qualified" people to a location to plant a church that have no roots in the area they’re planting.

It’s a God Thing to train leaders that are already in the community to lead their community to Christ through church planting!
