5 Tools. Makes you a Mountian Mover!

ShortHeader-FollowingGodA dangerous Christ-follower is a powerful person! They charge forward in reckless abandonment, hell-bent on accomplishing all that God has called them to do! And what allows them to run at such a pace and with such passion and assurance? It’s called faith! Many want to know, just like the disciples, how do I increase my faith?

Let me try & share a much abbreviated version of what God has taught me about this subject over the last several years. It has to do with how to know what we need to pray, how to hear God’s voice, and knowing what we need to believe God for. It goes something like this:

  • Without Faith it is impossible to please God. (Heb. 11:6)
  • Whatever is not of Faith is sin! (Rom. 14:23)
  • Faith comes by hearing & hearing by a word from God. (Rom. 10:17)
  • Faith without action is useless. (Jas. 2:20)
  • So… If I do something without first getting direction from God & act on it, I am sinning, and not pleasing Him!
  • But, when I hear from God, then act on it with all assurance that it will come to pass, because God spoke it, that is the faith that moves mountains, and changes families, communities & nations!

Practically, this is how I have seen these biblical principles of powerful faith workout in my own journey with God. My daily & even hourly goal is to practice these as a lifestyle in all I do…

  1. Deep prayer. (Pray without ceasing, ask God about everything, most times it’s just a whisper in my spirit to God)
  2. Hearing God’s voice! (Listen & watch for God’s direction. It comes from His written Word, and those He speaks to you)
  3. Act on the Word from God. (MOVE! It is not in your strength now, because you are operating with God, He provides!)
  4. Expect it to be done. (This is the acid test. Are you doing EVERYTHING knowing it will be done as God said)
  5. Give God all the glory! (These are things that only one empowered by God could do, therefore give Him all the glory!)

I pray you will be a dangerous Christ-follower today. That you will have the faith to overcome all that stands in your path! The faith that comes from a passionate love relationship with your heavenly Father, as He speaks His will and purpose to you. And I pray you would act and move with all faith and courage, and when the task is done, and when the mountain is moved, you will give God all the glory for allowing you to hear His voice and inviting you to participate in the miraculous! AMEN!

Seriously one of the best things I’ve ever read on the subject. So many people desire to know this, but it’s seldom laid out in a way that we can understand! Thanks for sharing!!
